PhD Student
Emil is a researcher and lecturer and a part of the Architecture and Engineering Research Group. He teaches within the field of parametric design and his research focus is gravitational structures and masonry with respect to geometry, structural mechanics and production methods. The goal is to support the architectural design process and physical prototyping stages by creating digital tools. The research is driven by mathematical models linked to geometry, production and physical phenomenon with a firm ground in materiality and artistic exploration.
